“I’ve been going to Over 60 Fitness classes for around 3 weeks now, I was nervous to start after having a knee replacement 3 years ago, however as soon as I arrived my nerves diminished. My instructor, Carl is so lovely, he talked me through everything and allowed me to adapt certain exercises in order to cater for my knee. Everything was thoroughly explained in technical terms and in a more practical sense – I’ve learnt so much already! One of my main concerns was tripping over and falling on my knee so Carl put together a range of balance exercises that will help me regain my balance if I do trip. I haven’t had to put my new found skills to test yet, but I feel much more confident in myself if anything did happen. I’m already telling all my friends about it and I hope they come too – I’d just like to say a big thank you to everyone at Over 60 Exercise, you’ve really helped me regain my confidence!”
“In December 2016, I decided it was time I took my fitness and health seriously, after a health scare it made me realise how important it is. I was always really afraid of going to the gym because of a lack of confidence, so this was a really difficult thing for me to do. I heard about Over 60 Exercise through a friend and contacted Carl, and he helped me not only to achieve a level of fitness I was happy with but made me feel at ease and helped me gain confidence in my everyday life. After a 3 month break from the gym, due to illness, I was back to square one. However, after only one month, I am right back to where I was. The results aren’t necessarily weight loss but for me, it’s much more, it’s given me a new lease of life and confidence! Everyday tasks seem easier and I have much more energy. Carl really has changed my life and my perception on what I can and can’t do and I can’t thank him enough!”
